about

🔸Recite and accumulate the Seven-Line Prayer to Guru Rinpoche from Tibetan Buddhism to dispel imminent global obstacles to peace and harmony, as well as environmental problems, disease and instability. (Dungse Shenphen Dawa Norbu Rinpoche)

The Seven-Line Prayer, an invocation of the Indian Mahasiddha named Padmasambhava—also often referred to as Guru Rinpoche, "Precious Guru" and known as the Second Buddha—is not merely a prayer. It also functions as a method to awaken one's own primordial wisdom-mind according to the profound path of Ati Yoga. Although Padmasambhava is a historical figure who's known for establishing the Dharma in the land of Tibet, removing all obstacles and training his heart disciples; it's also understood that he achieved a miraculous state beyond death through which he can spontaneously benefit all those who address him with heartfelt devotion. The Seven-Line Prayer is universally known as the best means with which to do so.

Guru Rinpoche not only spread the Buddhist teachings in Tibet, but also hid innumerable spiritual treasures of practice in the form of "Termas" with the help of Yeshe Tsogyel, his chief Tibetan consort, for the benefit of future generations. In this video you can watch both Guru Rinpoche and Yeshe Tsogyel.

lyrics

HUNG, ORGYEN YUL GYI NUBJANG TSAM
Hūṃ! In the north-west of the land of Oḍḍiyāna

PEMA GESAR DONGPO LA
In the heart of a lotus flower,

YATSEN CHOK GI NGÖDRUB NYÉ
Endowed with the most marvellous attainments,

PEMA JUNGNÉ SHYÉ SU DRAK
You are renowned as the ‘Lotus-born’,

KHOR DU KHANDRO MANGPÖ KOR
Surrounded by many hosts of ḍākinīs.

KHYÉ KYI JESU DAK DRUB KYI
Following in your footsteps,

JINGYI LAB CHIR SHEK SU SOL
I pray to you: Come, inspire me with your blessing!

GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG
